1. Where are you from and where do you hope to go? I'm from Green Bay, WI and I think that living in Oregon some day would be really great, but I would like to settle down closer to family.
2. First impression of Peru: I felt so loved and welcomed by everyone here. I was surprised at how run-down the community is where we are living and the amount of care we are providing to the patients.
3. What type of nursing interests you most: I really am interested in peds and hope to work at a Children's hospital.
4. Favorite experience of the trip thus far: It's been a challenging experience and so I really enjoyed spending the day at the beach where we were able to relax and have fun.
5. What has been the most eye-opening experience while in Peru: Realizing how lucky we are but also realizing how lucky the people of Peru are because of their close relationships with each other and to God. I have really been impressed by the warmth that we are greeted with and the patience and willingness to help in our clinicals.
